It's been a long time . . .

Still here, just a very inactive, sporadic blogger. But, still here!
Spring has come and gone, and Summer is in full swing.
Apparently we broke a temperature record here yesterday at 30.1 degrees, this broke the all time high record of 30 degres from 1941. ( I learned this little tid bit of info from Face Book - Love It!)
We are looking forward to a really busy fun summer, with lots of opportunity to spend time with friends and family and create memories to cherish for life. Hopefully I can post at least a few of the pics here too. I am absolutely loving my new Canon G10 camera. It takes amazing pics.

A visit wtih Santa . . .

We took Jaime's friend Brooklyn to Christmas at Hycroft with us this year, and the girls got to have a very special visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a couple of elves. They all had a turn to sit with Santa to let him know what they wanted for Christmas this year. Brooklyn wants a wiggle car, Jaime wants the operation board game and Chelsea wants a monkey. That should not be too difficult for Santa to fulfill.

Chelsea was terrified as all 1 year olds would be.
Jaime was 5 and very curious.
After the event Jaime said, "Mommy, Santa's voice sounds like Daddy.
Very smart girl, that little one.
